Data collection
CigZero does not collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data. CigZero does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
On-device data
The information you enter and generate in the app — your quit date and smoke-free time, your smoking and cost settings, savings, milestones, cravings, past attempts (history), reminders, and theme preference — is stored only on your device. On supported devices, this data is also kept in a shared app group so that the home screen widget can display your progress. This information is not sent to the developer or to any third party.
Notifications
CigZero can send you local notifications (such as reminders and milestones) from your device. These notifications are scheduled locally and do not involve any server or external service. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device's Settings.
Internet and third parties
CigZero does not require a user account or a server connection to work. It does not use advertising, analytics, or remote tracking services. Any download, payment, or device/iCloud backup handled through the App Store is governed by Apple's own systems and privacy practices.
Data deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, deleting the app removes its data from your device. You can also reset or clear your progress within the app.
Children's privacy
CigZero does not knowingly collect personal data from children. There is no in-app account system or form that asks for personal information.
Changes
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the current version will be published on this page.
